Review:
  • Packaging: This is the old packaging which is a plastic little pot with a screw top lid. It doesn't have any plastic covering over the loose eyeshadow so if you're not careful, you could end up with eye dust everywhere! It's very stressful trying not to breathe out too forcefully lest you send green shimmery eye dust flying everywhere.
  • Colour: 19 is a very pretty light green with gold, silver and light green microglitter.
  • Pigmentation: The pigmentation is good but not great.
  • Application: In one word? Messy. It's a loose shadow/dust, so that's to be expected. You'll just have to deal with a lot of fallout. I use my finger to apply them most of the time and that works just fine.
  • Longevity: Without a primer or a loose dust sealer (Napoleon does one called a Cake Eyeliner Sealer, which I have, and which works well), these don't last that long. With a primer, the wear is like any other eyeshadow. With the Cake Eyeliner Sealer, ditto. They're not going to budge.
  • Cost: They're AUD$25 for 1.8g of product. Expensive, but not complete extortion and when it's the exactly the product that you wanted (right colour and right amount of glitter/shimmer), more than worth it. These are much better value-for-money than theBalm's Overshadows, which retail at AUD$22.95 for 0.57g of much less pigmented product.
Final Verdict: B+
Pretty light green shimmery eye dust, but could be better pigmented
